An overview: Laboratorios Bustillo Sierra S.A. (Sociedad Anónima), "Bussié", orBustillo Sierra Laboratories, Inc. was established in 1959 in Bogotá, Colombia,
when Professor Bustillo Sierra and his wife, established a new business Venture derived from their pharmacy "Droguería San Carlos" (located in Barranquilla):
Laboratorios Recipe Limitada or Recipe Laboratories Limited (using of course the anglicism recipe), a community medicine laboratory.
It is currently a pharmaceutical company, now boasting a product line of over 50 brand-name medications and an extensive range of generic products licensed
by Recipe Laboratories. Since 2008 Bussié Laboratories is part of the Mexican group INVEKRA,
renamed Sanfer since 2016 (official website: sanfer.com.mx ).

The logo is a monocolor blue, having a lowercase "b" merged with a "t". Underneath is Bussié also in blue.
