Description of the flag

The flag of the Asiatic Petroleum Company was red with a white disk bearing the letter A.

Founded in London on 29 June 1903 as a joint venture between the Royal Dutch Petroleum Company and the Shell Transport and Trading Company Limited (which themselves merged to become the Royal Dutch Shell Group in April 1907). Ceased to exist (formally subsumed into Royal Dutch Shell) in December 1945.
