Zevenaar is southeast of Arnhem on the German border, a major border
crossing. It got city rights in 1487.
Flag: Three equally wide horizontal stripes of red and yellow with
in the center of the yellow stripe a black gothic letter Z.
This flag was adopted 27 Apr 1959 by municipal resolution; it is identical
to the (old) municipal arms.
