Here's another image by Jaume Ollé from Steenbergen's Flagbook (c. 1870): 
1009. Rotterdam Yacht club Cloanthes broad pendant. The flag is same but square.
I've changed the gold to yellow and stretched the burgee to the usual 2:3 proportions and squared it for the flag
I've searched, but found no yacht club, just some Australian plants; the famous Scottish writer Thomas Lauder seems to have written a novel with Cloanthes as a personage, and possibly in Greek mythology there was someone or something named Cloanthes.
