Ręczno commune flag

Ręczno - rural commune, Piotrków Trybunalski County, Łódzkie Voivodship.
Gmina Ręczno is a rural gmina (commune) in Piotrków County, Łódz Voivodship, in central Poland. Its seat is the village of Ręczno, which lies approximately 27 kilometres (17 mi) south-east of Piotrków Trybunalski and 72 km (45 mi) south of the regional capital Łódz.
Area: 89.21 sq.km (34.4 sq.mi); Population: 3,629 (2006).

First mentioned in 1399.
In the village of Ręczno are (among others) a sport complex (including a football stadium), a primary and secondary schools, a cemetery and the church (Saint Stanislaus). It also became an attractive vacation spot for the urban folks due to the clean air and scenery.

Arms and flag adopted on April 24, 2008 (resolution # XI/76/08).
The Arms and flag await the approval of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The symbols were designed by Dr.Marek Adamczewski of  Łódz and Andrzej Kupski of Bełchatów.
The symbols of the commune are related to the local cult of Saint Stanislaus.
