Gmina Bieliny is a rural gmina (commune) in Kielce County, Świętokrzyskie
Voivodship, in south-central Poland. Its seat is the village of Bieliny,
which lies approximately 21 kilometres (13 mi) east of the regional capital
Kielce. The commune contains part of the protected area called Cisów-Orłowiny
Landscape Park.
Area: 88.09 sq.km (34.0 sq.mi); Population: 9,832 (2006)
First mentioned in 1464.

"Arms: om the red renaissance shield is a golden medieval boat ("korab")
with a double patriarchal cross instead of the mast.
Flag: coloristic-tautological rendition of the Arms. A rectangle divided
into three uneven vertical bands.
Outside bands are yellow and 1/4 of the length of the flag each.
The middle band (red) with the Arms (without the shield) is 1/2 of
the length of the flag.
Ratio of the flag is 5:8."
