Stargard County (Polish: powiat stargardzki) is a unit of territorial
administration and local government (powiat) in West Pomeranian Voivodeship,
north-western Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of
the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat
and largest town is Stargard Szczeciński.
In August 2013 a proposal of the flag was presented. The flag's ratio is 3:5
(sic!). The flag is divided per saltire into red (hoist) and blue (fly), and
white (top and bottom). The coat of arms is in the centre of the flag.
