Description and meaning of the flag: A rectangular panel with a ratio of width to length 2: 3, reproducing the composition of the coat of arms of the Koshekhablsky district in green, white, yellow colors: in a green field there is a silver rider riding a horse of the same metal, a Circassian rider, in Circassian and papakha, with a belt on which a gun, a dagger and a powder flask, with the left hand extended to the side with an open palm and accompanied by an arc of nine golden stars from above. The coat of arms and flag of the Koshekhabl district, through allegory and symbols, reflects the history of the municipality, its present and future. Since ancient times, the territory of the Koshekhabl district was inhabited by the ancestors of modern Circassians - Meots, Kasogs, who are known in history for their horseman culture. Representatives of such Adyghe (Circassian) subethnoses as Jägerukhaites, Makhoshevites, Besleeneites, as well as Kabardians who resettled from Kabarda in the second quarter of the 19th century became the continuers of their ethnocultural traditions in the region. Thus, the Circassian horseman in the coat of arms of the Koshekhabl district symbolizes the heroic history of the Circassians, their military courage and courage, their readiness to defend their homeland, the ancient traditions of horse breeding, whose roots go back to the Maikop archaeological culture of the Bronze Age. At present, the Koshekhablsky district remains one of the places of reproduction of the horses of the ancient Kabardian breed “shagdi”. In addition, in heraldry, the image of a rider on a horse symbolizes the desire to move forward, progress. Nine gold stars on a green background symbolize the rural settlements of the district, and also indirectly hint that the Koshekhablsky district is an integral and integral part of the Republic of Adygea. Gold in heraldry is a symbol of wealth, stability, respect, intelligence. Silver is a symbol of purity, perfection, peace and mutual understanding. Green is a symbol of hope, development, rich nature, renewal, life and health. Adopted on 06.12.2019.

Koshekhabl'skiy rayon was created in 1934 in then Adygeya Autonomous Area, as part of the Azov-Black Sea Territory. It was dissolved in 1963 and re-created in 1965. On the photos of the celebration of 85 years of the creation of the rayon, a new coat of arms is shown, but it was soon replaced by the current coat of arms.
