Description of the flag

Symbols of the City District of Sayanogorsk in the Republic of Khakasiya, Russia, are presented here.
Valentin Poposki, 27 September 2006

The current flag is yellow with two wavy stripes across the center in light blue and green, and extending vertically across the flag in the center a green stripe with three white bars and a blue and white design.

From http://www.first-city.ru/news:

The new flag of Sayanogorsk is not much different from the old one... In the symbols, the designers have woven the wealth and beauty of nature with the creation of human hands: the pride of the Russian hydropower industry - the Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP, and the largest enterprise, the Sayanogorsk aluminium plant. The striving for excellence, nobility and life growth of the citizens are displayed in silver, blue and green colors.
