My visit on www.kosice-region.sk today was succesful. All three symbols (Arms, Flag and seal) of region are already shown there "in full splendour". According to "Vseobecne závazné nariadenie On Symbols of Košický Samospravny Kraj Use Proposal ("Generally Mandatory Regulation" - it is name for Regional and Municipal Representations Acts in "official" Slovak) the flag shall be quartered of yellow, red, blue and yellow, while vertical dividing line is in 1/3 of the fields length. No Arms, no swallowtails. The field is 120 high and 160 cm long. Above mentioned Regional Act (Vseobecne zavazne nariadenie) Nr.1/2002 will be on program next week (9th of May 2002). I only wonder, if these symbols are allready official - we know, that supreme heraldic authority in Slovakia is Ministry of Intern, not Selfgovernments.
