Overview

Santa Tecla (also known as Nueva San Salvador) is the capital of La Libertad Department. Since 2004 a new coat of arms is used and the name of the city was officially changed to Santa Tecla on January 1, 2004.

The Flag

The city of Santa Tecla has added the coat of arms to the flag, Large flag with the coat of arms was hoisted a few weeks ago
