Description of the Flag

According to the Thai Ministry of Interior in 2000, the flag of Uthai Thani is horizontally divided yellow over green with the seal in a circle in the center. The border of the circle was red on the Thai ministry of interior but it is dark blue on the provincial website, as seen here : http://www.uthaithani.go.th/flagUthai.html . The flag shown on the Thai Ministry of Interior had the name of the province in black in the green stripe.

The provincial seal shows the pavilion at Wat Khao Sakaekrang. It houses the statue of Thongdee, the father of King Rama I. The mountain in the background symbolizes the location of the pavilion on top of Khao Sakae Krang hill.
