The Flag

Approved on April 21, 2004. by the decision of the session of the city council. As of July 17, 2009 The rectangular panel is divided from the upper and lower corners near the tree to the middle of the opposite free edge by yellow stripes into three parts: triangular green at the tree, upper red and lower blue.

Coat of Arms

Approved on April 21, 2004. by the decision of the session of the city council. With changes - July 17, 2009. The shield is divided by a forked golden cross into three parts: the upper one is green, the right one is azure, the left one is red. In the center of the shield is an image of a steam locomotive inscribed in a circle of gold ears. Under the steam locomotive is placed a silver ribbon with the inscription in gold letters "Kozyatyn" and the date "1874" - the year of foundation of the city.

The Town

City of Kozyatyn is an independent city in Vinnyts'ka Oblast. That status was granted in 2000. The city adopted its coat of arms and flag on 21.04.2004, but some changes were made on 17.07.2009.
