The Gonfalon

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"It was confirmed in January, 26th, 2006 by the decision of city council session. The square panel is divided by pall into three parts - top dark blue, bottom yellow and green from a staff. The author is O.Lisnichenko.
The cross is a symbol of a road fork, ground, underground and subsoil water."

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"It was confirmed in January, 26th, 2006 by the decision of city council session. Azure; or church, on the vert base is argent wavy barrulet from which in the middle beats fountain upwards. The shield enframed by or cartouche and crowned by argent urban crown with three prongs. The authors are E.Chernyak, K.Lavro.
The temple means church in honour of Sacred Peter and Paul. Barrulet with a fountain means curative underground water in city bowels and their watersheds. Vert color specifies woods which surround city.

The City

"The first data about it refers to 1630. In 1648-1649 there was Cossack squadron, first commander was Fedir Vedmid'. Cossacks have constructed sacred Peter and Paul's church in city. Web site at <brovary.kiev.ua>."
