From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"It was confirmed at March, 29th, 2001 by regional council session. There is rectangular panel with a ratio of the parties 2:3, on it is the cross (width of the rack equals 1/4 width of a flag), divided in the middle vertically. From flagstaff in a yellow field is a dark blue half of cross, from free edge in a red field is a white half of cross, on a crossroads is lily in return colours."

"It was confirmed at March, 29th, 2001 by regional council session. The square panel consists of two equal vertical strips - white and dark blue, at the centre is large arms of area. Gonfalon has yellow edging from three sides."

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"It was confirmed at March, 29th, 2001 by regional council session. The shield per pale by or and gules. In the shield is direct azure-and-argent cross, on a cross is heraldry lily in returned colours. The board is crowned by or territorial crown with battlements from lime and leaves and supported from both parties by two beavers - gules on the right side and or on the left. Below them is a dark blue tape with a or inscription "Brodivs'kyi region". The authors are U.Grechylo and A.Grechylo.
The division of a board symbolizes a geographical arrangement of area on border of the Galychyna and Volyn' lands. Volyn' sign is the argent cross in a gules field, Galychyna presents by azure cross in or, they make uniform historical whole in the arms of area together. The lily is sign of the administrative center, and the argent-azure colours mean cleanliness and decency. Two beavers symbolize diligence and aggressiveness of the inhabitants of area, the various colours emphasize specificity of settling by the people from both historical regions. Territorial crown specifies an belonging of the arms to region and characterizes the mixed vegetation of region."
