Description of the flag

The flag depicts a statue of Revolutionary War hero Count Casimir Pulaski that was commissioned by Pulaski Federal Savings and Loan, in Little Rock, in 1961. However, according to a May 22, 2013 story by KTHV, a local television station, the artist didn't like the look of the real Count Pulaski, but instead modeled the bust after John Yancey, a local World War II and Korean War veteran, who had recently become the most decorated Marine from Arkansas in history.
