Description of the flag

The flag is white with the logo displaced toward the fly.

At https://twitter.com/RyanSheckler, the flag of Encinitas can be seen. It is white with a modified logo; it appears the waves were removed and the flag reads "PARKS" and "RECREATION" below the city name. The flag and logo were adopted in 2022. That same year, two flagpoles were installed at its city hall; before 2022, only the California and United States flags were flown. At Google Maps, it looks like the community center flew a city flag with the seal 17 years prior. The same building houses the parks and recreation center, which probably explains the added words on the flag. My guess as to what happened is that the city hall borrowed city flags from the center, which regularly replaces its flags, around the time of the adoption of the new logo. After the flagpoles were installed, the city started flying its flag on a flagpole.
