Description of the flag

The small town of Roseland, Indiana, has a flag has a blue circle with a yellow aura on a white background. Over the circle is a yellow-green silhouette of Indiana and over that is a pink rose with three leaves by its neck. Written directly beneath the circle is "Roseland". Inside the Indiana silhouette is "1916", the year of incorporation. There appears to be a black star on the silhouette's northern border, which of course represents Roseland's location on the map. The flag was reported in the South Bend Tribune in October 2002 and would have been then or earlier.

Roseland is located in St. Joseph County and has 854 residents according to the latest census. They are known for the LaSalle Trail, a rail trail that occupies an abandoned railroad corridor.
