Description of the flag

The flag is divided into three triangles - upper hoist yellow, central triangle green, upper fly white. The white triangle contains a cow's head and apple, the green triangle the town seal, showing a large red building, surrounded by the town and state names and date of incorporation in gold. Sutton is in Worcester County.

From the town homepage www.suttonmass.org/sutton.html:

This central Massachusetts town was given a grant in 1704 and settled in 1716, and still retains much of the rural beauty for which it is famous. It is the birthplace of Rufus Putnam and was home of furniture maker Nathan Lombard.
