Description of the flag

The flag of the Curry County, New Mexico, is dark blue with golden frame inside. Inside the frame is positioned orange map of the county bordered red, red Zia sun and blue "1909" in it. Above (but inside the frame) "Curry County" and below (also inside the frame) "New Mexico" in golden cursive letters.

The County

"Curry County is a county located in the U.S. state of New Mexico. The population was approximately 45,044 at the 2000 census. Its county seat is Clovis. It is named in honor of George Curry, territorial governor of New Mexico from 1907 to 1910.
