Description of the flag

I am able to confirm that Sallisaw has a city flag. The city, the county seat for Sequoya County, has a population under 9000 according to the 2010 US Census. The flag itself is the city seal on a white background. The main element of the seal is black in color while the circles around the text are orange. The high school also uses this color, along with Oklahoma State University, though I could not find a connection between the two. The diamond in the center of the seal has an S, perhaps as the town is one of the 22 stops on the Arkansas River between Fort Smith and Fort Gibson, or possibly for the town name.

I took the city seal from www.sallisawok.org and placed it on a white background.
