Description of the flag

I just received information that the borough manager has recently redesigned their borough flag. It was adopted very recently, all though I was not told what specific date. The flag was designed by Marcus Jacobs, who is the borough manager.

He provided me a separate file which contains the flags symbolism:

Dark blue – From the Pennsylvania Flag, represents Lake Erie.
Light blue – A color commonly used by Penn State called “PA Sky Blue”. Represents the sky.
Keystone Symbol – Common PA State symbol that we can identify with.
Brick wall – Represents the hardworking nature of the community, represents the 1900s era when Wesleyville was developed and many houses were built with brick, and it represents a strong structure where a bunch of individual units come together to form a strong structure (A.k.a A bunch of individual members of the community coming together to form a strong community.)

He also told me about the previous flag, which was white with the borough seal in the center. Which can be seen here in this photo: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=680330434246334
