Mountain Valley is an unincorporated apartment community located in
Monongalia County, north of Morgantown. It began constructed in 2006 and
finished in 2008. It is in the category of many communities which are
self-contained mostly residential zones which have populations of small towns,
but have no other infrastructure other then residential homes. Most of them are
constructed by a single real-estate developer. There are some occasions in which
they will create a flag for the community, usually displaying at the entrance to
the community or at a community building.
The current flag was introduced
in 2015 when the community changed their branding, replacing its first flag
which was adopted in 2008.
The flag is a white field with an all-grey
version of an old community logo in the center.

The former flag is a horizontal bi-wave of blue and yellow. This most likely
represents the colors used by the WVU Mountaineers, as the community calls
itself "The perfect home for WVU students". In the blue half is "MOUNTAIN",
while in the yellow half is "VALLEY".
The flag existed from 2008 until
2015 when a new logo was created and the current flag was adopted.

The current logo uses a stylized uppercase "m" colored in regular, and dark turquoise. Underneath the "M" is the community name with "APARTMENTS" in the same color. This logo was adopted in 2017 after a full rebranding.

Second Logo

The second logo is made of the community name in orange and grey, with an unofficial motto of "an evolve community" This was used from 2015-2017.

First Logo

The first logo consists of a symbol which combines the letters "M" and "V", the community initials. The community name is inscribed next to the symbol. It was created after the community was built in 2008.
