Tarleton State University (1899 founding year) is based in Stephenville, TX and is a part of the Texas A&M University System. The academic flag used by the university is their university seal in white that is centered on a purple background. According to the branding guidelines (https://web.tarleton.edu/marketing/wp-content/uploads/sites/184/2022/07/brandguide.pdf), Pantone 268 is the shade of purple used by the university on their flag and in all of their branding. The variant shown here reverses the colors on the seal.
