Description of the flag

Estb: 1928. Location: Waukegan [Harbour], IL.
Burgee: Pennant 5:7 (web image). Blue field fimbriated light blue on three sides and superimposed per bend by a white fouled anchor.

The club “. . . was formed in 1928 by a group of civilians who had mooring privileges at the Great Lakes Naval Base. [now Naval Station Great Lakes] . . . World War II closed the base to civilians. . . . Civilian access to Great Lakes was again significantly restricted after September 11, 2001. Fortunately, Waukegan Harbor was nearby.”
