Description of the flag

Aransas Pass Yacht Club is a non-profit corporation established in 2002 for the purpose of promoting boating, education and related activities and social functions. Their communications channel appears to be their Face Group, https://www.facebook.com/APYachtClub, though it appears to be mostly social functions oriented.

Their burgee is a blue field, with an white eight spoke steering wheel, of which the spikes have been replaced by a red disk bearing a white pelican swimming flyward; beyond that the letters "APYC" in a white serif slightly diminishing font; again beyond that two vertical red stripes. That last bit we can't actually see on their own website, as their own profile image cuts of part of their burgee, but the Portofino Harbour Marina & Yacht Club has exchanged a burgee with the APYC, and there we can see the rest of it.
