Five Dakota First Nations in Manitoba now have joint flag known as Dakota Nation of Manitoba flag. It was raised for the first time on 15.09.2021 in Winnipeg, and will be permanently flying together with the flags of the Metis Nation and of the Treaty One First Nations and more photos

The five Dakota First Nations that participate are:

1. Birdtail Sioux Dakota Nation
2. Canupawakpa Dakota Nation
3. Dakota Plains Wahpeton Nation
4. Dakota Tipi First Nation
5. Sioux Valley Dakota Nation

The Flag

The flag is textured blue with patterns along the upper and lower edges, in the centre a depiction of the logo of the Nation and five smaller logos of the participating bands.
