Wahta is a small Mohawk Community located in the Muskoka Region of Central
Ontario. The community was established in 1881, when a group of Protestant
Mohawks moved from their original home in Oka, Quebec due to religious, civil,
and economic differences.
The flag is white with a green logo consisting of a stylized tree, a bear, a turtle and a wolf below it, and the name written around it.
