The flag of Kırıkkale Province (photos) is white with the province's emblem in the middle. "T.C." stands for "Türkiye Cumhuriyeti", "Republic of Turkey"; "Valiliği" means "Governorate".

The emblem features the Çeşnigir bridge. Originally built to cross river Kızılırmak on the Ankara-Kırşehir road, the bridge is nowadays partially submerged in the Kapulukaya Dam lake.
Although its exact date of building in unknown, the bridge is of the 13th century Seljuk style. In 1402, Timur's troops allegedly crossed it when marching against Ankara. The bridge was rebuilt by the architect Mimar Sinan during the Egyptian expedition led by Sultan Selim II (1566-1574).
