Yalova University

Yalova University (website) was established on 31 March 2008. Yalova University dates back to the Uludağ University Yalova Vocational School. Due to the need of a university in Yalova that became a province in 1995, the Yalova Higher Education Foundation was established on 22 January 1996. On 19 February 2007 the Yalova University Association was established. Yalova University started education in 2008.
The university is composed of 5 Faculties, 2 Institutes, 4 vocational Schools and 1 School.

Yalovaspor

Yalovaspor (Yalova Spor Kulübü) was established in 1963 as the merger of Gençlikspor and Kayaspor. The club played in the Second League for the 1990-1994 seasons; it was relegated at the end of the 2010-2011 season to the top amateur league, where it has been playing since then.
