The website at www.albanyca.org shows a very striking municipal seal, consisting of a wide black ring with white lettering, the center divided per fess sable linked to the outer circle. On the fess are the words in white capitals 'GATEWAY TO NORTHERN ALAMEDA COUNTY'. The upper half of the center consists of a steep black mountain silhouetted against a blue sky, with an image of what I believe to be the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. The lower part of the seal, below the fess, contains elements of the California State Flag.
