Description of the flag

The flag of the City of Arcadia, California, is dark orange with city shield on it. Here is the description of the shield:

"The City of Arcadia flag portrays many important and representative images for the City. The Oak branches (our City tree), Peacocks (our City birds), the Queen Anne Cottage at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden (built by the City's founder, "Lucky" Baldwin), Horseracing from Santa Anita Park (the sport of horseracing was also introduced to Arcadia by "Lucky" Baldwin) and the beautiful San Gabriel Mountains in the background. The flag includes the City motto: "Community of Homes" and also includes the incorporation date."
Photo of the flag and information, thanks to Marina Simonian, Deputy City Clerk, City of Arcadia.
