"3. Consideration of Approval of an Official City Flag - (Ruben Abrica, Mayor, Jay Farr, Manager-Maintenance Division)
Recommendation: That Council Adopt the City Flag"
Valentin Poposki, 5 August 2010
I found photographs online of a parade in East Palo Alto. Leading the parade was a color guard carrying the city flags. That's right, flags... plural. Based on the photographs, there appear to be two variants of the East Palo Alto flag. Both feature the city seal in full color and the words "City of East Palo Alto" beneath the seal in dark blue lettering. But one variant has a white field while the other has a light blue field. I don't know which of the two is the official flag. Is it possible that both are? If anyone else has any additional information about these flags, I would love to hear it.
