Description of the flag

Thousand Oaks, California, is an suburb of Los Angeles located northwest of the city in Ventura County. It is one of the wealthiest communities in California and indeed in the United States, with many personalities in the worlds of entertainment and sports making their homes there. The City Clerk, Ms Linda Lawrence, has informed me that a proposal for a municipal flag was put forward some years ago, but no action has ever been taken on the matter. The flag design would have consisted of a dark blue rectangle depicting the municipal seal.
