dos Reis Martins (no relation). The article is illustrated with one
linedraw image of the seal and two photos of flags, tightly cropped
to show the central emblem and leaving their edges off-frame. The
article refers to the national law that
governs subnational emblems, and quotes it obliquely concerning some
interesting aspects. It is not clear, however, how much these
guidelines come from the general law on local symbols, from the
conditions previously set by the municipaly concerning the design of
