Per pale Azure a pale Argent bearing a tower with cupola of the First masoned of the Second Azure an eagle's wing palewise also of the Second.

Initially, the political municipality of Herdern used a logo instead of a coat of arms. In 2012, the municipal council itself designed a flag/coat of arms that combines the coats of arms of Herdern and Lanzenneunforn. The new emblem violates the heraldic colour rule.
