Introduction of Gutenzell-Hürbel

The former municipalities of Gutenzell and Hürbel were enforced to merge on 1 January 1975. Especially there had been no agreement about proper symbols of the new municipality. And thus the arms of the former municipalities of Gutenzell and Hürbel are still in use. For more details click here.Furthermore local officials told me per phone that the plain flags of the former municipalities are still in use.
The former municipal banners were approved by Minister of Interior of Baden-Württemberg as follows:
Gutenzell on 14 February 1958, published in GABl 109/1958 (see: Stefan Schwoon's database)
Hürbel on 17 February 1964, published in GABl 104/1964 (see: Stefan Schwoon's database)
