Nord-Elm Coat of Arms

Shield Gules, an embattled tower Argent, charged with a grain ear Sable and hammer and mallet Sable, in chief a coronet Argent.
Meaning:
The coronet is alluding to Lothar of Saxony, a descendent of an Ottonian branch line located in Süpplingenburg, German King 1125 - 1137, Holy Roman Emperor 1133 - 1137. The tower is representing the castles of Süpplingenburg and Warberg. The ear is symbolising agriculture. Hammer and mallet are symbolising mining.
The coat of arms was also approved on 18 August 1977 by Helmstedt County. The arms were designed by Wilhelm Krieg

The shield is divided per fess. Above in a golden (=yellow) field is a half blue mill wheel, below in a green field is a silver (=white) sugar-beet.
Meaning:
The wheel might symbolize the use of water power, the beet was an important crop in the region.
The coat of arms was approved on 20 November 1990 by State Archive Hannover.

The coat of arms is divided per fess by a wavy line. Above in a blue field is a golden (= yellow) tree, below in a golden (= yellow) field a blue mill wheel.
Meaning:
Probably the ensemble is symbolizing riches of water and woods.
Flag and banner were approved by State Archive Hannover in 1987(!!), the coat of arms on 11 January 1988.

Meaning:
Wheel and ear might symbolize industry and agriculture. The wavy line might symbolize a local creek or riches of water in general.

Wolsdorf Coat of Arms

In a silver (= white) shield is a green oak tree, which is superimposed at the bottom by a red inescutcheon showing a silver (=white) ear of grain superimposed by hammer and mallet of the same colour.
Meaning:
The tree might symbolize forestal riches, the ear either agriculture or beer (seems to be barley) and hammer and mallet are symbolizing mining.
