Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, a fountain Or, pouring water Argent into a surrounding barrel Or.
Meaning:
The arms were granted in 1964 and was newly devised, as no historical seals or arms were known. The arms display the local fountain. Formerly the water was collected in a large wooden barrel surrounding the fountain. This was a peculiar sight and the village was nicknamed "Steinbach in der Bütt", or "Steinbach in the barrel". The arms were designed shortly before their approval in 1964 and had no historical antetypes.
