Weißenbrunn Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Argent a hops twig Vert with two umbels and a stalked barley ear Vert, at sinister Gules a mermaid Argent with fish tail Azure.
Meaning:
The mermaid is a decorating element of the village well, built by Ulrich of Redwitz, since 1715 and had become the emblem of the municipality. The Lords of Redlitz owned Weißenbrunn Manor from 1350 until the beginning of the 19th century, only interrupted between 1622 and 1681. The tinctures red, blue and silver are those of family arms of the Redlitz kin. Hops and barley are the ingredients of beer and are symbolising the local tradition of breweries for mor than 480 years.
