Jetzendorf Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale; at dexter Gules a sinister facing demi-ibex salient Argent; at sinister parted per fess, above Argent (without charges), beneath Azure three balls Or ordered 2:1.
Meaning:
Between 1971 and 1975 the municipalities of Volkersdorf and Hirschenhausen plus parts of Steinkirchen and Triefling were incorporated. Jetzendorf had been seat of a district (Bavarian: Hofmark) from 1345 until 1848, which was connected with Volkersdorf. The ibex is taken from the arms of the Zillenhart kin, who owned the district between 1520 and 1572. The sinister half dispalys the arms of the Freyberg-Eisenberg kin. The family settled down in Jetzendorf in 1812 and also acquired Hirschenhausen.
