Bad Endorf Coat of Arms

Shield Or, a hound's torso Sable tongued Gules with a necklace Azure with lock of the same.
The municipal arms are the family arms of the Lords of Dorfbeck, who lived in the village from the end of the 11th centuryuntil 1417. The hound's head is displayed on local seals from the 14th and 15th century and on the tombstone of Heinrich of Dorfbeck in the church of Altenbeuern. The family became extinct around 1600. Endorf gained the title of a market town in 1973 and of a spa in 1988.
