Geiselhöring Coat of Arms

Shield Gules a harrow Argent in pale, chief barry-bendy of Argent and Azure.
Meaning:
Geiselhöring had already been a market town before 1353 and gained the status of a city in 1952. Town seals are known since 1514. The harrow as a symbol of agriculture had been the only charge. The current tinctures appeared first in 1565 in the roll of arms of Hans Mielich (1516 - 1573). The lozengy chief appeared first in 1611 on a town seal with angels as supporters. Since then the arms remained basically the same, but the shape of the harrow changed in detail and its tincture sometimes had been golden.

The banner probably is in use without approval. The current arms are in use since the 17th century.
