Lauterach Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, a trout Argent spotted Gules, superimposed by an abbot's crozier issuant Or in pale.
Blue colour and trout are symbolising the location on the banks of the rivers Große Lauter and Danube, they are also alluding to the municipality's name. The crozier is alluding to the abbeys of Zwiefalten and Marchtal, which owned estates in the village.
