Coat of Arms

Shield Or, a harpy Gules crowned Azure, superimposed by an inescutcheon Argent, charged with a mallet Azure in bend, accompanied by four nails Azure, two above and two beneath.
Meaning:
The eagle with female face (= harpy) is taken from the arms of the Von Merlau and Von Felda kins, who ruled the village for many years. Hammer and nails are representing the local craftsmen working as nail-makers. It was the main business in Groß-Felda in the 19th century.
The arms were approved on 4 March 1984.
