Description of flag:
It is a red over green horizontal bicolour with the coat of arms in
its centre.

Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided per fess. The base is a red field with a fessy
wavy silver (=white) line.
The chief is divided per pale. In the dexter chief is a red windmill
in a silver (=white) field. In the sinister chief is a silver (=white)
man, throwing a big stone, in a green field.
Meaning:
The wavy line is representing the Aue creek. The windmill stands for
a historic mill. The bearded man is an image of the famous giant BRUNSE,
who is about to throw a stone into the village.
