Eisenheim Coat of Arms

Shield quartered of Gules and Argent, the 2nd and 3rd quarters are together charged with a crozier Sable in bend sinister, the 1st quarter is charged with a reversed horseshoe Argent with an additional star with comet tail, the 4th quarter is charged with a horseshoe Argent.
The quartered shield displays the arms of the Counts of Castell-Rüdenhausen, to which the village belonged until 1806. It then became a possession of Bayern, in 1810 of the Grand Duchy of Würzburg. Bayern regained the village in 1814. The municipality was established in 1818. The crozier is alluding to the Bishopric of Würzburg, to which Untereisenbach belonged. The horseshoes probably are local symbols.
