The municipality of Lucillos (573 inhabitants in 2018; 4,050 ha) is located 70 km west of Toledo and 20 km east of Talavera de la Reina.

Symbols of Lucillos

The flag of Lucillos (photo, photo, photo) is prescribed by an Order issued on 8 July 2004 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 21 July 2004 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 130, p. 11,925 (text).
The flag is described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular, in proportions 2:3, composed of a white panel with a border, red at hoist and blue at fly. The coat of arms shall be placed in the center.

The coat of arms of Lucillos is prescribed by an Order issued on 8 July 2004 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 21 July 2004 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 130, p. 11,925 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:

Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Gules a cross argent, 2. Azure a vase with lilies argent. Grafted in base, Argent a bunch of grapes vert. The shield surmounted by A Royal crown closed.

The Royal Academy of History rejected the proposed symbols becaise no drawing was provided that could explain the meaning of "urnas" used in the text.
