he municipality of Villatobas (2,570 inhabitants in 2021; 18,152 ha) is located 70 km east of Toledo and 20 km south-east of Ocaña.

Symbols of Villatobas

The flag and re-defined arms of Villatobas, adopted on 3 December 2O2O by the Municipal Council, are prescribed by Order No. 43 issued on 15 February 2022 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 24 February 2022 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 38, p. 6,655 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular, in width 2/3 the length, horizontally divided into two equal parts, the upper one white and the lower one blue. Would the flag features the coat of arms, this should be placed in the panel's geometric center, in width half of the flag's width.
Coat of arms: Per fess, 1. Argent three fleurs-de-lis or in fess fimbriated sable, 2. Argent an arm clad azure the hand open proper. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown open.

The coat of arms of Villatobas was originally prescribed by Decree No. 1,210 issued on 22 May 1963 by the Spanish Government and published on 1 June 1963 in the Spanish official gazette, No. 131, p. 8,943 (text).
The coat of arms was described as follows:

Coat of arms: Per fess, 1. Argent an arm clad a chief argent three fleurs-de-lis or. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown.
