Flaggenbuch (1939-1941) [neu] shows boat flags as square blue flags with a white Greek capital letter:
- Λ: Port authority, probably for λιμανι, port
- Ε Λ: Port inspection
- Σ Β: Army station
- Τ: Customs administration
- Τ Τ Τ: Post
- Υ: Health Service, probably for υγια, health (the origin of the word hygiene

The specifications for the size of the letters are the following:
- Height: 5/11 of the flag width
- Width: 3/11 of the flag width
- Downstroke width: 4/55 of the flag width

These flags are not shown in any other source and might be no longer in use.
